2025 Urus Cars, Price, Release Date & Full Specs [Update] is a supercar with an SUV body, not just an exotic SUV with a supercar logo. That is shown by the vehicle’s astonishing performance on well-known racetracks, such as the new Performante variant breaking the Pikes Peak SUV record and the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8’s 657 horsepower. That recently unveiled lighter and faster model highlights Lamborghini’s dedication to ensuring the Urus lives up to the brand’s unique heritage.

This high-riding Lambo is the only vehicle in the showroom that can tow a trailer and carry more than two passengers, most likely very wealthy people. Occasionally, it shows off its intricate bodywork or exceeds practically every other vehicle on the road. There is currently no other SUV like the 2025 Urus, despite its quarter-million dollar price putting it out of reach for the majority of us mere mortals and its inside not being as spectacular as it should be for such a high price.

Price And Competition For The 2025 Lamborghini Urus?

The 2025 Urus S won’t be available in the US, but it starts at 195,538 Euros in Europe before taxes. According to the current currency rate, that is equivalent to almost $193,000 in US dollars. However, the typical base Urus, which the new Urus S replaces, had an MSRP of over $225,000. As a result, you should expect to pay at least $230,000 for the improved SUV. Competitors include the $188,700 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and the $236,000 Aston Martin DBX707, both of which have higher power.

With the new S and Performance models, the Urus’s performance improves for 2025 horsepower, jumping by 16 to 657 hp. The Performance features a suspension system different from the base S; it sits 0.8 inches lower than usual and uses steel rather than air springs. A unique set of shoes for the Performante is also available. These shoes are 23-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres in sizes 285/40R-22 up front and 325/235R-22 down back.

Lamborghini Urus 2025 Full Specification

A 657-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V-8 powers all 2025 Urus versions. Under maximum throttle, the engine completely bellows and burbles loudly when idling. Fantastic acceleration is made possible by combining all that power, permanent all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. In our tests, the Urus smashed the quarter-mile in 11.3 seconds at 121 mph after rocketing to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Lamborghini predicts a top speed of 190 mph as well.

The Lamborghini feels dynamic in the driver’s seat because of its quick steering and steady high-speed handling. The Urus incorporates air springs at its four corners, allowing for changeable ride heights depending on the selected drive mode.

The Urus has standard carbon-ceramic brakes that allow it to stop at 149 feet from a speed of 70 mph. The new Performance model is for those who seek an even more racy Urus. It weighs 104 pounds less than the conventional version and sits 0.8 inches lower. It is available with super-sticky Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres and 23-inch wheels.

Urus 2025 Performance

Only the Performante features an unusual centre differential that uses steel springs to deliver more torque rearward than usual. In addition, a new Rally drive option for off-road driving is available on the ultra-Urus. Although it was a lot of fun when we tried it out during a prototype drive of the ’25 Urus Performante, we doubt many owners will thrash their six-figure SUV on gravel-covered off-road courses. We’re pleased to report that the Performante’s numerous enhancements pay off on the racetrack by delivering a snappier powertrain, better steering feedback, and a stiffer ride.

Urus 2025 Fuel Economy & Actual MPG

The owners of Lamborghini’s heaviest model, the Urus, sure like to drink, but those affluent enough to purchase one probably don’t worry about fuel efficiency. The EPA predicts the 657-hp Urus will achieve 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the motorway. The mileage will vary depending on driving style, even though we haven’t tested its real-world mpg on our 75 mph highway fuel economy route.

Urus 2025 Cargo, Comfort & Interior

The cabin offers a striking interior that is distinctly Lambo. To the left of the shifter are the controls for the drive modes and the programmable performance settings. There is a lot of faux-suede and carbon-fibre decoration throughout, even if the infotainment system and re-configurable gauges are straight from an Audi.

Depending on the seating arrangement, there is adequate passenger room in the back seat for two to three passengers. Utilizable door pockets and a bin behind the floating centre stack highlight the interior cubby storage. The cargo space of the Urus can hold up to 22 cubic feet, although with the optional rear bucket seats, that amount decreases by 2 cubic feet. Although the screens offer clear visuals and big icons, they are less user-friendly than conventional knobs and buttons.
